I packed the poles and so glad I did!
I’ve just had the most magical ski holiday - well overdue at 4 years since the last one. First of all let’s talk ski - as far as ski holidays go this was the BEST. We went with Purple ski to Chalet Iona in Meribel. Having been taken on my first Ski holiday (to Meribel as it happens!) 40 years ago and been an avid ski holidayer ever since, I’d like to think that I know what’s what when it comes to ski holidays.
I cannot give this chalet and its attentive and friendly staff enough credit. They made the holiday so special.

With it’s origins in the snow, I could not leave my poles at home. Luckily my adjustable travel Nordic Walking poles were a perfect fit for the case.
What I did not bank on was the ability to go for some amazing sunrise Nordic Walks right from the front door of the chalet.

Shame I had to leave and head back to my real home.
At least I have poles in my life all year round now - albeit in a different format!
